Maren is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and earned her master’s degree in clinical social work from the University of Southern California in 2006. She has been working in the mental health field for over 12 years, several of those years working for Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health. Maren is intensively trained in the practice of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and served as the clinical leader of a comprehensive DBT program for LA County for many years before transitioning to private practice.

Maren’s approach is highly collaborative and she remains committed to the delivery of evidence-based treatment to help clients reach their goals.

Maren has extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, OCD spectrum disorders and Eating Disorders.

Maren also treats Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors such as Trichotillomania (hair pulling) and Compulsive Skin Picking (Excoriation Disorder) using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Habit Reversal Training.
