Candice is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with several years of experience providing counseling to diverse populations. She achieved her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University Channel Islands and a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. Candice has worked extensively with children, adolescents, and transitional-age youth (18-26), as well as adults, couples, and families.

Candice is committed to helping clients reduce unhealthy responses and behaviors, increase self-awareness, and improve social skills and their overall quality of life. She has treated clients struggling with Anxiety, Depression, OCD, OCD-related disorders, Body-focused Repetitive Behaviors (such as Trichotillomania), ADHD, self-harming behaviors, specific phobias (such as Emetophobia), ASD, and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Candice uses evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Exposure Response Prevention, as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. With a client-centered approach, she is dedicated to focusing on the value of treatment tailored for each clients’ unique needs.

Candice offers an open-minded, compassionate, calm presence in therapy. She is committed to building a strong therapeutic relationship by working collaboratively with clients to achieve their therapeutic goals through open communication, engagement, and providing a safe space for clients to share and explore.
